Yachtbasen has the Headquarter located at Marselisborg Marina in Aarhus, Denmark.

Our new sales office in Flensburg manages all inquiries from Germany and coordinates evaluations, viewings, and all aspects of boat sales and purchases between the German, Danish, and Scandinavian boating communities. Supported by a passionate consulting team, you will receive guidance on cruising, sailing with a small crew, technology, sail performance, regatta sports, and other topics related to water sports.
Thomas is a partner, director, and yachtroker at Yachtbasen ApS. With extensive experience in boat sales, the events and experience industry, and substantial sailing experience as a captain up to 95 foot motor and sailing Yachts in Scandinavia and the Mediterranean, he's a trusted expert in his field. Thomas previously directed the Matchrace Center, owned hotels, restaurants, conference centers, sailed in regattas, and has accumulated many nautical miles in both solo and family sailing.
Janni is the heart of the Aarhus office and typically your initial point of contact at Yachtbasen ApS. She manages daily communication in English, German, and Danish with customers near and far. Janni handles viewings and various tasks related to buying and selling boats, including creating advertisements, coordinating between buyers and sellers, acquiring documents, contract processing, escrow accounts, and payments.
Aage Jørgensen is a former owner and manager of Yachtbasen ApS, as well as a skipper and boat broker. Aage began sailing at 13 and has over 40 years of experience from various ship projects and charters in Denmark and the Mediterranean.
Michael and Kerstin manage Yachtbasen ApS' sales office in Flensburg. Both have gained years of experience in tourism and event industries and have been connected to water sports from a young age. As lodge and resort operators on the Canadian West Coast, with their harbor and boat park for international guests, Michael and Kerstin have extensive knowledge of motor and motorboat maintenance. Michael has actively sailed for over 45 years in various classes and has built a professional network of water sports professionals.
Kimberly is working with Janni from the Aarhus office, to support Yachtbasen's marketing and social media endeavors. Vivian, a trained hotel professional from 5-star hospitality, assists in perfect "boat staging" and presentations of our boats at fairs and events.
With more than 25 years of experience from international yacht sales in the maritime industry, most recently as responsible for McConaghy Boat's activities in Europe, Ole is ready to serve our customers. Ole's interest in the maritime world started early with sports sailing and has since resulted in thousands of nautical miles both in Scandinavia and southern Europe in all sizes of sailboats and catamarans. Ole has extensive experience with high end yachts and project sales, especially in the Mediterranean area, and he has a large network of professional colleagues all over the world.

Kalle supports us with extensive experience and knowledge in all areas of water sports. A master of many sailing competitions and with an eye for the right equipment when choosing a vessel, Kalle is also our top advisor for sailing with a small crew (double, single) on yachts.
